Steve Nelson RN / Nurse Injector
Steve brings his ample experience and artistry to the practice of Dr. Kristin J. Tarbet and AMARA Medical Aesthetics. He has worked in the field of plastic surgery for over 8 years in Beverly Hills, working as a nurse injector and a nurse anesthetist to multiple plastic surgeons. After practicing medical aesthetics in Beverly Hills, he moved to Washington state to be closer to his family.
Steve practices as a Registered Nurse and Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist for over 25 years now and has been an aesthetic injector for over 12 years of his career.
Steve completed his training and education at Elgin Community College and St. Francis Medical Center School of Nursing.
Steve enjoys art and drawing. He uses his artistic skills to provide subtle and natural beauty for each face. Steve is fully dedicated to ensuring your visit is both enjoyable and memorable.

Evelyn Spieker ARNP / Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner
Evelyn comes to Amara Medical with over 12 years of experience in aesthetic and injectable cosmetic treatments. She has extensive training and knowledge with botox and a wide variety of dermal fillers. Evelyn received her Nurse Practitioner’s Degree from the University of Washington and has practiced in a number of specialties including women’s health.
Her experience and knowledge with injectables, as well as her passion for providing clients an informed and individualized treatment are all elements in helping her clients meet their aesthetic goals. “I love what I do, being able to learn about what is important to my clients and devising a plan to assist them in appropriate choices to accomplish their personal aesthetic needs”

Maryam Ali, O.D.
Dr. Maryam Ali, a dedicated optometrist with deep roots in the Chicago suburbs and a proud Boilermaker from Purdue University, is committed to enhancing patient eye health through cutting-edge technology and personalized care. With a Doctor of Optometry degree from the Chicago College of Optometry, Dr. Ali combines her extensive clinical experience with a passion for improving patients' quality of life.
Dr. Ali’s expertise includes managing complex conditions such as diabetic and hypertensive retinopathy, glaucoma, dry eye, and retinal pathologies. Her previous roles at Chicago Cornea Consultants and Chicago Glaucoma Consultants have refined her skills in ocular disease management, and advanced diagnostic procedures.
A significant focus of Dr. Ali’s practice is on Dry Eye Syndrome (DES) and Meibomian Gland Dysfunction (MGD). At AMARA Medical Aesthetics, where she utilizes state-of-the-art technology, Dr. Ali is dedicated to diagnosing and treating ocular surface diseases. This includes managing conditions such as Blepharitis, Demodex, ocular allergies, ocular rosacea, recurrent corneal erosions, and lagophthalmos. Her approach involves creating personalized treatment plans based on comprehensive diagnostics to ensure patient comfort and clear vision.
Dr. Ali employs innovative treatments such as the EnVision by InMode device, which provides advanced Radiofrequency (RF) and Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) therapies for severe Dry Eye Disease (DED). Stephanie is the person responsible for keeping AMARA organized and running smoothly.
She has years of experience in anti-aging, hormonal replacement, patient care coordinating, and plastic surgery. She works with Dr. Kristin Tarbet and was ecstatic about the doctor’s vision of combining Medical Aesthetics and Plastic Surgery under one roof. Her favorite aspect of the job is seeing great results with non-surgical procedures. Being a part of the practice that truly cares about making a difference in the lives of clients is very important as well. She is proud to be a part of the team of women with an aesthetic eye for detail and continues to make sure AMARA keeps growing to the full potential.
Natalia Ryzhkova, RN - Nurse Injector, Laser Specialist
Natalia brings over a decade of experience in dermatology and cosmetic procedures. Her career began as a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Cath lab at Memorial Reginal Hospital, where she honed her skills in patient care and recover.
Transitioning to dermatology, she excelled at the Institute of Plastic Surgery and later at Sweet Beauty, where she spent over eight years. At Sweet Beauty, located in Russia she was a practicing physician specializing in a rage of cosmetic and medical treatments, including Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, and a wide variety of dermal fillers. Her proficiency extended to advanced procedures like biorevitalization, mesotherapy, dermabrasion, PDO thread lifts, and benign neoplasm removal.
Natalia's dedication to her patients is evident in her thorough post-operative care, follow-up teaching, and commitment to ongoing professional development. Her extensive training in dermatology and skin rejuvenation therapies ensured that she was at the forefront of modern technology and treatment. When she moved to the US she continued her studies and works as a registered nurse.
