About the Microneedling Procedure:
This procedure involves minimal pain and takes anywhere from a few minutes to an hour to complete, depending on the severity and size of the affected area. The gentle method of micro-needling suits men and women of all skin tones and sensitivities.
Before the treatment, an AMARA Master Aesthetician will apply a numbing cream on the targeted area, reducing your ability to feel the needling process. The skin is pricked with a needling device, creating a micro-wound which stimulates cell regrowth. New collagen is then forming and renewing your skin. As a result, skin imperfections are softened, reduced, or completely removed, and the top layer of your skin is thicker and firmer.
Modern men and women are always on-the-go, searching for the best possible option to improve the look and texture of their skin. AMARA’s micro-needling services have minimal to no downtime — at the most, you may experience some post-procedure skin redness for a day.
If multiple procedures are needed, there must be a break period of about six weeks to ensure that new collagen has formed and your skin is ready to be affected by another treatment. 3-6 appointments are usually required to see superior results.
